We were driving to or from volleyball one day and my wife said she wanted a nicer car. This was in the winter, but she just said we spend a decent amount of time together in the car, and she wanted something nicer.
I love the Tesla, but I do think I’ve been in some nicer cars (like an Escalade). I was willing. We started looking at others and even drove a few.
Then we had a minor accident. Getting that repaired delayed things, but in the meantime we had come to the decision to sell the car. We’re getting older, we’ve had friends pass away, and we decided to enjoy ourselves with something that’s just more luxurious.
I looked online and we can sell this for more than the loan and put some money towards another car. Tesla isn’t on the list, as there are nicer cars and Tesla has somewhat excited the luxury market. An S is nice, but we want something bigger (and taller).
