We popped into a Cadillac dealership in February because it was close and we had time. I had no idea that I would enjoy the car. The salesman asked a few questions and then steered us to the Optiq. He said it was the best value, if we could handle the size.
Tia drove it first and really liked it. The massaging seats were great. The seats also gripped you. All the nice trim items, a mix of modern and classic, were very nice. It felt luxurious. The digital rear view mirror was weird, but we liked it. The Heads-Up was great.
Both of us really liked the car. Our big concern was the size. It’s about the Model Y size, but felt smaller. It’s longer, but narrower. We left really liking it, but unsure.
A Little Time Passes
We’ve been talking about this for a few months, unsure of what to do. With some time available at the end of our July 4 tri, we decided to go back and drive one again.
It was still a great car. We really liked it. Everything was good until we got to the Lyriq. It’s great, but the cost isn’t the deciding factor for us, so we decided this one isn’t for us.
