Our new house in 2003. We decided to take advantage of low interest rates and spend more money rather than refinance our house. Tia has always wanted a horse and when we started looking we found a place where we were close to the city, but could still get some land. We bought 2.5 acres.

I have been wanting to take pictures, so when I went for the well inspection, I took a few minutes to snap some photos. Here's a walkthrough of the house.

Well here it is. Our new house from the front. It's on a street that curves through the neighborhood. I'm standing across the street from the North East side of the property.

It's a stucco exterior, built in 1980, with the red clay tile roof. Kind of a Southwest theme, though the houses in the neighborhood are all different styles. Terrell Davis lives in this neighborhood, though his house is up for sale. Guess the knee isn't doing so well.

This is the South East side of the house and the house next door. That house has a nice pool in the back, so we'll have to make some friends.

Here's the other end of the house, actually the garage. As you can see, the driveway slopes down, though we've got a nice drain in front of the house, so I don't expect drainage issues. A few trees near the house, which is nice for me and then lots of open space, which is nice for Tia. The house in front of us is near the end of our property, so you can see we've got some land.

Note the moutains in the background. One of the reasons we chose this house.

Another view of the front. We've got two balconys in the house, this one faces North East, so not a great view, but not bad. The masted bedroom and the smallest bedroom, which will be Tia's office, are connected by this balcony.

Here's a closeup as I was walking across the lawn. Not a great entry, but definitely room for improvement. There's a brick walkway from the driveway, but that's ok. The important views are on the back deck/patio.

Our doors. Nothing special, but double doors and a nice entrance. Adding a front patio courtyard thing would make this fantastic.
