MAME Arcade Projects

As a kid I loved going to the arcade. Not addicted, but many days after school I'd head up the 7-11 on the corner of Northhampton and Baker in Va. Beach with a few friends and we'd play tons of Ms. Pac Man. Galaga at the pizza joint across the street, my buddies addicted to Stargate and Defender, etc.

At home we had an Atari system early on and I spent tons of money getting new games and trying them. We also had a pong game way abck when.

I'd always wanted to get a pinball machine or some arcade system, but I could never decide which one and didn't want to drop $1000 on it.

Then came MAME (see link belwo). I got excited, but not off my butt to get going. Did lots of research, looked at lots of sites and projects from others, but nothing until I found the Mini cabinet site below in the links.

So I here's the start of things:

Got time, decided to start. Downloaded some plans from MiniMame and headed to Lowe's for some parts.

Also ordered some button and joysticks from Happ Controls for when I get around to the control panel. Might add some others in for D as well.
